Josh Gaynor is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, executive producer and reporter based in New York City.
Josh was trained in the pressure-cooker world of network television morning shows, crisscrossing the country as a breaking news booker for ABC News’ Good Morning America. He went on to work as a producer with the CBS News Investigative Unit producing in-depth investigations including a focus on the international counterfeit drug trade. Josh’s work led him to CNN in Washington, D.C. where he led a team of correspondents and producers covering the U.S. Justice Department, FBI, Intelligence Community, Supreme Court and Transportation beats for the network.
Since launching Falls Village Media in 2017, Josh’s work has focused on premium documentary films and series. From investigating the CIA on its’ work surrounding 9/11 to chronicling a country music superstar’s international tour, Josh has continued to hone his craft as a storyteller, producer and leader capable of taking a film from concept to delivery.
For nearly 20 years, Josh has traveled the world relentlessly pursuing stories with passion, honesty and integrity.
