Josh Gaynor is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, executive producer and investigative reporter based in New York City.

Josh was trained in the pressure-cooker world of network television morning shows, crisscrossing the country as a breaking news booker for ABC News’ Good Morning America.  He went on to work with the CBS News Investigative Unit producing in-depth investigations including a focus on the international counterfeit drug trade.  Josh’s work led him to CNN in Washington, D.C. where he led a team of correspondents and producers covering the U.S. Justice Department, FBI, Intelligence Community, Supreme Court and Transportation beats for the network.

Since founding Falls Village Media LLC in 2017, Josh’s work has focused on premium documentary films and series.  From investigating the CIA’s work surrounding 9/11 to following country music superstar Garth Brook’s international tour, Josh has continued to hone his craft as a storyteller, producer and leader capable of taking a film from concept delivery.  His work has been recognized with multiple awards including back-to-back Emmy nominations in 2023 and 2024.
